Radon Mitigation Tech/Installer

Position Title: Radon Mitigation Installation Technician
Starting Salary: Based on Experience (Approximately $18-24/Hour)
Schedule: Monday-Friday (Some Saturdays) – Day Shift
Location: On location at Homes
Main Reporting Location: Eagle Mountain

RadoShield is a fast-growing radon mitigation company based in Lehi, Utah. We take pride in every single system we install. Our goal is to save families from the dangers of radon gas one mitigation system at a time. Our client’s are our number one priority. 

As a Radon Mitigation Installation Technician you will enjoy working with a partner to complete mitigation system design meetings and installations. You will travel to and from many different homes in different areas around Utah.

Previous experience in HVAC, electrical, and plumbing are a plus, but not required.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Valid driver’s license & clean driving record
  • Ability to carry 50-100 lbs
  • Ability to climb ladders 20+ ft & work on roofs with a steep slope
  • Ability to work in confined spaces such as crawlspaces & attics
  • Written & verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work unsupervised and as a team
  • Comfortable speaking to customers & excellent customer service skills
  • Completion of required Certification: NRPP Mitigation & Measurement

Job Responsibilities:

  • Operate drill, hole-saw, coring drills, & other power/hand tools safely
  • Drill concrete, boards, siding, & drywall
  • Route & glue PVC pipe from the foundation out to the exterior
  • Wire electrical boxes & tie into existing electrical for the radon fan wiring
  • Install plastic membrane in areas such as crawlspaces
  • Install roof flashing for system exhaust
  • Clean up after the installation is complete
  • Communicate with clients & co-workers
  • Visit the home prior to installation to design the mitigation system
